  1. Check if the motor is awake by tapping the button on the motor once to see if it moves. Holding the button for 1x jog will toggle the motor between sleep/wake.
  2. Once the motor is awake, hold the button for 2x jogs, then try to discover the motor in the Tahoma app.
  3. Rapidly press the button on the motor 10x times. If the motor jogs then it swapped from Bluetooth to Zigbee and entered discovery mode. Now, try to discover the motor in the Tahoma app again.

  10. tap ok on the screen, and while the bluetooth logo if flashing, rapidly tap the button on the motor head 5 times.
  11. Wait 2-3sec and repeat the 5 button press.
  12. Click retry on the screen when needed
  13. After clicking retry about 4-5 times, force close the app and go back to this step.
  14. if the motor appears, continue, if not repeat this step untill it does.

  1. External batteries will bypass the board in the motor, so no battery related features will work properly. Features include: jogging when plugged in, charging indicator LED on motor, and battery status in the app.
  1. Is motor awake
    • Tap button, does it move
    • Yes, move to step 2. No, see below
      • Plug in charger or hold buttom on motor for 1x jog
  2. Hold button for 2x jogs
  3. Try discovering motor in the app
    • If it discovers, you're done. If not, go to step 4
  4. Rapidly push button on motor 10x times
  5. hold button for 2x jogs
  6. Try discovering motor in the app
    • If it discovers, you're done. If not, go to step 7
  7. Force close app, retry discovery.
  8. hold button for 2x jogs
  9. Try discovering motor in the app
    • If it discovers, you're done. If not, open "Somfy Set & Go" and go to step 10
  10. Select "As an installer" and, "Zigbee devices only"
  11. Select application settings
  12. Select motor maintenance
  13. Scan QR code, no QR code, go to step 14
    • If it discovers, go to step 20
  14. Select no refrences
  15. Select ok, rapidly push button on motor 5x times
  16. Wait 2-3sec, repeat 5x button press
  17. Select retry on the screen when needed
  18. After selecting retry 4-5 times, force close the app and go back to step 10
  19. Once you have the motor procede

  1. Blinking blue light on the power supply.
    • There is a short in the wiring, check each connection individually to verify where the problem is located.
  1. Solid green ACT light means there is a short in the wiring.
  2. 12v trigger cares about the polarity of the power.
